Make Something Fun!
For several years now, the Devil's Lake State Park Nature Center has been our Kid's Corner Partner. They help us create a place where children (of all ages) can learn by exploring exciting activities. We believe that all of us learn, and retain, new ideas when a little bit of hands-on-work is involved. Creating something helps us remember!
For 2018, with the focus on native pollinators, the Kid's Corner activities will include:
- creating homes for native bees
- learning what kinds of plants native bees need to gather pollen
- what other kinds of things you need to do in your back yard to help the bees flourish
- solar bugs (some assembly remains for the children to finish)
Thank you to the Devil's Lake State Park Nature Center for being a Sauk County Earth Day Partner!
Do you love homemade soaps?
For fifteen years, Ann Dyer and her family have been making soaps, salves and bug spray in Baraboo. This year she is joining our Earth Day Celebration event for the first time. We encourage you to stop by her display, learn about the process of making soap, and maybe even take some of her products home.
Sauk County Earth Day Celebration will be in Rock Springs at the Community Center on Sunday, April 22nd from 9 am until 3 pm.

The 2019 Sauk County Earth Day Celebration event marks the 20th Anniversary of this event. We're aiming to be back in Rock Springs on that weekend with seeds of inspiration for you.
