Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area believes that everyone deserves a decent place to live. We offer two programs to help low-to-moderate income families become homeowners through working on their own homes alongside volunteers. We also have two ReStores located in Baraboo and Portage. The sales of the ReStores help fund home building, and the donations of building supplies and home goods allow us to keep tons of waste out of local landfills.

Please stop by their table and visit!

The Baraboo Public Library offers a safe and welcoming environment, providing area residents and visitors with confidential access to cutting edge, high quality resources. As a center of lifelong learning, the library proactively engages diverse audiences, encourages collaboration, and challenges and empowers its users to participate fully as members of their local and global communities.

Do you love homemade soaps?

For fifteen years, Ann Dyer and her family have been making soaps, salves and bug spray in Baraboo. This year she is joining our Earth Day Celebration event for the first time.  We encourage you to stop by her display, learn about the process of making soap, and maybe even take some of her products home.

Sauk County Earth Day Celebration will be in Rock Springs at the Community Center on Sunday, April 22nd from 9 am until 3 pm.
